Kyle DeHovitz is a multidisciplinary designer, information architect, and seasoned design lead with over a decade of experience in design and tech. An alum of RISD, Kyle has honed his skills at some of the most renowned names in consumer tech, including Apple, Uber, Google, and Facebook.
During his tenure at Apple, Kyle played a pivotal role in shipping health initiatives centered around chronic condition management. He was also a key member of the Google-Apple Exposure Notification project. Currently, Kyle serves as a Lead Product Designer at CareEvolution, with a primary focus on enhancing the patient experience.
Lead Product Designer for patient experience across web and mobile. Designed the logging experience for a patient to track and act on their health data, including integration with Carbon Health EMR.
Designed condition management programs for patients and providers to treat mental health, diabetes, and asthma.
Hardware interaction designer for LogBand, a Carbon designed wearable that enables users to track their activity and log health data. Lead designer for the integrated hardware and software user experience.

Product Designer for Heartline, a heart-health study for seniors. Designed an app for people 65+ to use daily with an Apple Watch. Study was focused on early detection of AFib in a population who often goes undiagnosed.
Lead Product Designer for Asthma Digital Study, an asthma self-management tool. Users could log symptoms and, combining Apple Watch and sleep data, measured a users asthma risk and guided prevention techniques.
Product Designer for LumiHealth, a gamified wellness app for Singapore. Designer of wellness programs, game mechanics, and chronic condition management experience.
Member of the core design team for Exposure Notifications. Worked on the initiative from March 2020 until it was shipped as part of iOS 13.7 in September 2020. Collaborated with Google and multiple Public Health Authorities worldwide.

Product Designer on Safety & Trust. Primary designer for Safety Center, including 911 Response, Share My Location, and Trusted Contacts.
Core member of Uber Maps design team, responsible for internal mapping tools. Focused on building a scalable and highly-efficient map making tool. Worked closely with operators in Hyderabad.
Product designer for Rider and Driver experiences that involved interacting with the map. Designer for pickup improvement, location discovery, and user-generated content.
